Position Overview

A technology-driven financial services organization is seeking a Fintech Strategist to develop long-term strategic initiatives across digital payments, financial platforms, automation, and emerging financial technologies. The role combines market intelligence, business analysis, technology awareness, and commercial strategy to identify opportunities for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic initiatives for digital financial products and services.
• Analyze fintech market trends, competitors, customer behavior, and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate new business opportunities across payments, digital banking, embedded finance, and financial infrastructure.
• Translate market intelligence into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Work with product, technology, finance, risk, compliance, and commercial teams.
• Develop business cases, financial assessments, and strategic investment proposals.
• Define strategic KPIs and monitor performance against agreed objectives.
• Assess opportunities for automation, artificial intelligence, APIs, and data-driven financial services.
• Support senior leadership with market-entry and product-expansion strategies.
• Identify operational and commercial risks associated with strategic initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations.

Candidate Profile

• Strong strategic and commercial mindset.
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
• Understanding of fintech business models and digital financial infrastructure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to connect technological developments with measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in fintech, banking, consulting, payments, technology, or financial services.
• Experience with strategic planning, market analysis, or digital transformation.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and business analysis is advantageous.
