Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior FX Trading Strategist to develop and execute sophisticated foreign-exchange strategies across global currency markets. This role is suited to an experienced market professional who combines strong macroeconomic understanding with quantitative analysis, disciplined risk management, and the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable trading decisions.

You will work closely with trading, research, risk, and technology teams to identify opportunities, refine trading models, and strengthen the overall performance of an institutional FX operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine systematic and discretionary FX trading strategies across major and emerging currency pairs.
• Analyse macroeconomic indicators, central-bank policy, interest-rate expectations, geopolitical developments, and market flows.
• Monitor market structure, liquidity, volatility, spreads, and execution conditions.
• Produce high-quality daily and longer-term FX market analysis for trading and investment teams.
• Evaluate trading performance and identify opportunities to improve risk-adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and developers to enhance trading models and analytics.
• Maintain disciplined position sizing, exposure management, and trading-risk controls.
• Contribute to scenario analysis, stress testing, and strategic market planning.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in FX trading, investment research, treasury, quantitative finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong understanding of global foreign-exchange markets and macroeconomic drivers.
• Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and convert analysis into trading decisions.
• Strong knowledge of FX instruments, market microstructure, liquidity, and execution.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Python, SQL, or comparable financial-market technologies is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a high-performance environment.
