Engineer Seamless Digital Experiences for Modern Financial Products

A customer-focused fintech organization in Estonia is seeking a Senior Fintech Customer Experience Engineer to build the digital interfaces and application services through which customers interact with financial products.

This is a senior full-stack engineering opportunity for someone who combines strong technical capability with an understanding of financial user journeys, accessibility, performance, security, and product usability. You will work closely with product, UX, design, backend, data, and compliance teams to create intuitive experiences without compromising the complexity and security requirements of financial technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated web and application experiences for digital financial products.
• Build responsive customer journeys covering onboarding, account management, payments, transactions, and financial insights.
• Translate complex financial workflows into intuitive digital interfaces.
• Integrate frontend experiences with secure financial APIs and backend services.
• Establish high standards for performance, accessibility, usability, and cross-device compatibility.
• Work closely with UX and product teams to implement research-driven improvements to customer journeys.
• Develop reusable frontend components and application frameworks that accelerate product delivery.
• Implement secure handling of authentication, authorization, customer data, and sensitive financial information.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and customer experience.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize API interactions and application architecture.
• Develop automated testing and quality-assurance practices across critical customer workflows.
• Use product analytics and customer behavior data to identify friction and improve digital experiences.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to frontend and full-stack engineering standards.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant frontend or full-stack expertise.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or comparable technologies.
• Solid understanding of backend APIs, authentication, authorization, and distributed application architecture.
• Experience building production applications where security, reliability, and performance are critical.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, browser performance, and frontend architecture.
• Experience integrating applications with financial, payment, identity, or other sensitive-data services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Strong understanding of secure frontend development and protection of sensitive customer information.
• Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, design, product, and business teams.

Technical Environment

The environment may include TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, REST/gRPC APIs, OAuth/OIDC, PostgreSQL, cloud platforms, Docker, automated testing, CI/CD, analytics platforms, and application-observability tooling.
