Role Overview

You will engineer services protecting customer accounts and financial operations while enabling secure onboarding, authentication, authorization, and account lifecycle management at scale.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop identity and access-management services for digital banking and fintech applications.
• Build secure authentication workflows including MFA, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and service-to-service authorization.
• Engineer account lifecycle services covering registration, verification, account recovery, access changes, and account closure.
• Develop risk-aware authentication mechanisms capable of responding to suspicious login and transaction behavior.
• Build secure APIs connecting identity services with customer, payment, KYC, and financial-account platforms.
• Implement granular role-based and attribute-based access controls.
• Design comprehensive audit trails for sensitive account and administrative activities.
• Develop automated security and integration testing across authentication and authorization services.
• Improve platform resilience against credential abuse, session attacks, API exploitation, and unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, product, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java/Kotlin, Go, C#, Python, or TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, cryptographic principles, and secure software architecture.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, SQL databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• Background in fintech, banking, identity platforms, or other security-sensitive systems is preferred.
