We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Finance Architect to design the technology foundations for financial services embedded directly into digital products and platforms.

This is a high-impact architecture role for a professional who understands APIs, payment infrastructure, financial integrations, account services, and the technical requirements of building secure, scalable fintech ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design architectures for embedded payment, account, wallet, and financial-service capabilities.
• Develop integration strategies connecting fintech platforms with banks, payment providers, identity services, and third-party APIs.
• Define scalable API, microservice, and event-driven architectures for financial products.
• Establish technical patterns for transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement, and financial-data exchange.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to engineering teams.
• Evaluate technology partners and assess integration, security, scalability, and operational risks.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, compliance, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Establish standards for resilience, observability, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Identify architectural bottlenecks and develop long-term technology improvement plans.

Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, fintech, banking technology, payments, or financial infrastructure.
• Strong experience with APIs, distributed systems, microservices, cloud platforms, and event-driven architecture.
• Practical knowledge of payment processing and financial-service integrations.
• Experience designing highly available and secure enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, encryption, and data-protection principles.
• Excellent technical leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
