About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Fintech Product Operations Specialist to support the effective delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement of digital financial products. The position connects product development with day-to-day operational performance, helping ensure that digital payment services, account features, customer workflows, and transaction-related processes function as intended.

This role is ideal for a professional who understands the operational demands of fintech products and can work across product, customer support, engineering, compliance, and business operations teams. The successful candidate will help identify service gaps, coordinate product changes, maintain accurate operational documentation, and translate recurring issues into actionable improvements.

The position is non-executive and focuses on hands-on product operations, process coordination, reporting, and service quality within a remote working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the operational performance of digital financial products, including payment flows, account services, transaction status, and customer-facing functionality.

• Coordinate product updates, operational changes, release communications, and internal readiness activities.

• Document product procedures, service workflows, recurring incidents, and operational requirements.

• Investigate reported product issues, gather supporting information, and coordinate resolution with engineering and customer support teams.

• Review operational metrics to identify transaction delays, recurring service failures, customer friction, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Maintain accurate product records, issue logs, release notes, and internal knowledge-base materials.

• Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, recording results, and reporting defects before product releases.

• Assist with the implementation of operational controls and procedures aligned with internal policies and applicable European requirements.

• Prepare regular performance summaries and communicate significant operational findings to relevant stakeholders.

• Contribute to process standardization and improvements that strengthen product reliability and the customer experience.

Requirements and Experience

• A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Two or more years of experience in fintech operations, digital banking, product support, payment services, or technology-enabled business operations.

• Familiarity with digital payment workflows, financial applications, customer account processes, and operational issue tracking.

• Strong documentation, reporting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience using spreadsheets, project-management platforms, ticketing systems, and business reporting tools.

• Ability to interpret operational data and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Understanding of data confidentiality, operational risk, and customer information protection.

• Excellent written communication and the ability to manage competing priorities while working remotely.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured through the accuracy of operational records, quality of incident coordination, effectiveness of testing support, timeliness of issue resolution, and contribution to measurable process improvements.
