We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially aware Investment Analyst to support investment research, financial analysis, market assessment, and the evaluation of potential investment opportunities.

The successful candidate will work with senior finance and investment professionals to assess market developments, analyze financial performance, develop valuation models, and prepare clear investment materials to support informed decision-making.

The Role

As Investment Analyst, you will conduct detailed research across companies, industries, markets, and investment opportunities. You will combine quantitative analysis with qualitative research to identify relevant trends, risks, and potential opportunities.

You will also contribute to financial modelling, investment presentations, portfolio monitoring, and periodic performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and market research across relevant industries and sectors.
• Analyze company financial statements, operating performance, and market trends.
• Develop and maintain financial valuation and forecasting models.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities and associated risks.
• Monitor economic, industry, and market developments.
• Prepare investment analysis, reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
• Support due-diligence activities and investment assessments.
• Track the performance of existing investments and relevant benchmarks.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate research, financial models, and investment documentation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative abilities, commercial awareness, and intellectual curiosity. You should be comfortable working with financial information, researching unfamiliar industries, and forming evidence-based conclusions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, corporate finance, research, or a related field.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and investment concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CFA qualification or progress toward professional certification is advantageous.
