Role Overview
The Investment Analyst will evaluate financial markets, investment opportunities, portfolio performance, and economic indicators to support informed investment decisions within a fintech environment. The role combines financial research, quantitative analysis, market intelligence, and technology-enabled reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on financial markets, securities, sectors, and investment opportunities.
• Analyze financial statements, market data, economic indicators, and company performance.
• Develop financial models and investment-performance analyses.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify significant movements or emerging opportunities.
• Prepare investment reports, presentations, and analytical recommendations.
• Use data-analysis tools to identify trends and investment signals.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential outcomes.
• Support portfolio reviews and investment strategy discussions.
• Collaborate with product, finance, risk, data, and technology teams.
• Monitor developments affecting financial markets and fintech investment products.
• Maintain accurate research documentation and analytical models.
• Present findings clearly to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in investment analysis, banking, fintech, asset management, or financial research.
• Strong financial modelling and quantitative-analysis capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL, Python, or financial-data platforms is advantageous.
• Excellent research, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
