Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially astute Investment Analyst to support investment evaluation, financial modelling, market research, and strategic decision-making across emerging financial technology and digital-finance opportunities.

The successful candidate will analyse businesses, markets, financial performance, competitive landscapes, and investment opportunities, translating complex information into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and commercial analysis of prospective investments and strategic opportunities.
• Build detailed financial models, forecasts, valuation analyses, and scenario assessments.
• Research fintech markets, emerging technologies, competitors, and industry trends.
• Evaluate business models, revenue structures, growth prospects, and operational performance.
• Prepare investment memoranda, management presentations, and analytical reports.
• Monitor portfolio and investment performance against established benchmarks.
• Perform due-diligence analysis across financial, commercial, operational, and technology considerations.
• Identify market opportunities and potential investment risks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, Product, Risk, and senior leadership teams.
• Maintain market intelligence and develop regular investment updates.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, consulting, banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Strong financial-modelling and valuation capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial-analysis platforms.
• Excellent research, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• CFA qualification or progress toward CFA is advantageous.
