We are seeking an experienced FX Portfolio Manager to oversee currency-market strategies, portfolio exposures, risk parameters, and performance analysis within a sophisticated financial-services environment.

The role combines fundamental and quantitative market analysis with disciplined portfolio construction and risk management. You will collaborate with research, execution, risk, and technology specialists to develop and monitor systematic and discretionary FX strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multi-currency portfolios in accordance with defined investment mandates.
• Analyse global FX markets, macroeconomic developments, and currency fundamentals.
• Develop portfolio positioning and hedging frameworks.
• Monitor exposures, volatility, drawdowns, liquidity, and concentration.
• Evaluate strategy performance and conduct attribution analysis.
• Collaborate with execution teams to optimise implementation and transaction costs.
• Develop scenario analyses and stress-testing frameworks.
• Maintain disciplined portfolio and risk-management processes.
• Produce investment reports and market commentary for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of new FX strategies and analytical tools.

Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of experience in FX, portfolio management, treasury, investment management, or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of global currency markets and macroeconomic drivers.
• Demonstrated experience managing market exposure and portfolio risk.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Python, or comparable financial-market tools.
• Excellent communication and decision-documentation skills.
• Professional English; European financial-market experience is advantageous.
