A sophisticated financial-technology environment is seeking an FX Platform Solutions Architect to design and evolve technology architecture supporting foreign-exchange trading, pricing, liquidity, and client-facing services.

This position is aimed at an architect who understands that modern FX infrastructure requires more than conventional software engineering. Reliability, latency, market-data integrity, security, scalability, and integration with external liquidity ecosystems are all critical.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable architecture for FX trading and execution platforms.
• Develop technical solutions for pricing, liquidity aggregation, order management, and execution.
• Define integration patterns for banks, liquidity providers, trading venues, and financial APIs.
• Establish architectural standards for reliability, security, performance, and observability.
• Review technical designs produced by engineering teams.
• Lead architectural discussions across product, engineering, trading, risk, and operations.
• Support migration from legacy systems toward modern distributed architectures.
• Evaluate technology vendors and third-party trading infrastructure.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and develop appropriate architectural solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and technical standards.

Technical Environment

Cloud platforms, Kubernetes, microservices, event-driven architecture, REST/FIX APIs, WebSockets, message brokers, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, monitoring, and security tooling.

Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, fintech, financial markets, banking technology, or trading systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Practical understanding of FX trading and electronic-market infrastructure.
• Experience designing high-availability and performance-sensitive platforms.
• Strong API and systems-integration expertise.
• Excellent technical communication and architectural leadership skills.
• Professional English.
