Role Summary

The Forex Trading Operations Specialist will support the daily operational activities of a foreign exchange trading environment, ensuring that trade transactions, account activities, and settlement processes are managed accurately and efficiently.

This position is suitable for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of forex market operations, trade lifecycle management, and financial transaction processing. The successful candidate will work remotely from Estonia while collaborating with trading, risk, compliance, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily foreign exchange trading activities and ensure that transactions are processed accurately.

• Support the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement.

• Review trading records and investigate discrepancies involving transaction details, account balances, or settlement instructions.

• Coordinate with internal trading teams to resolve operational issues affecting execution or transaction processing.

• Maintain accurate operational records and ensure that relevant trading documentation is properly organized.

• Monitor currency market activity and identify operational issues arising from unusual market conditions.

• Assist with daily and periodic reconciliation of trading accounts, cash movements, and financial records.

• Support the implementation of operational controls designed to reduce errors and improve transaction efficiency.

• Prepare operational reports covering trading activity, settlement status, and unresolved discrepancies.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of forex operational procedures and internal workflows.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Previous experience in forex operations, financial services, trading support, or transaction processing.

• Understanding of foreign exchange markets, currency pairs, and the forex trade lifecycle.

• Familiarity with trade reconciliation, settlement procedures, and financial transaction controls.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve operational issues independently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a remote working environment.

• Knowledge of trading platforms or financial operations systems is an advantage.
