Role Summary

The Digital Asset Custody Operations Specialist will support the daily operational activities associated with digital asset custody, including transaction administration, wallet monitoring, balance verification, operational reconciliation, and custody record management.

The position requires careful monitoring of digital asset movements and accurate documentation of custody-related activities across supported platforms.

The successful candidate will collaborate with technology, compliance, security, and finance teams to investigate transaction exceptions, maintain accurate custody records, and support the integrity of digital asset operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cryptocurrency operations, digital asset administration, or financial transaction processing, together with a strong understanding of blockchain transactions and operational control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily digital asset custody activities across supported platforms and wallet infrastructure.

• Review incoming and outgoing digital asset transactions and verify their operational status.

• Maintain accurate records of digital asset balances, transfers, deposits, and withdrawals.

• Perform regular reconciliation between custody platform records and internal financial systems.

• Investigate transaction delays, unsuccessful transfers, balance discrepancies, and other operational exceptions.

• Support the administration of wallet-related operational requests in accordance with established authorization procedures.

• Monitor blockchain transaction confirmations and identify activities requiring further investigation.

• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve wallet connectivity and transaction processing issues.

• Assist with maintaining operational records for digital asset movements and custody-related activities.

• Support internal control procedures covering transaction verification and custody administration.

• Review operational reports to identify unusual movements or inconsistencies in digital asset records.

• Coordinate with compliance teams when transaction activity requires additional review.

• Assist with operational testing of custody platform updates and new digital asset integrations.

• Maintain documentation covering custody procedures, reconciliation processes, and transaction exception handling.

• Contribute to improvements in digital asset operational controls and reporting workflows.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least three years of experience in digital asset operations, cryptocurrency administration, custody services, or financial operations.

• Understanding of blockchain transaction processing and digital asset transfers.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency wallets, custody platforms, and blockchain explorers.

• Knowledge of transaction reconciliation and financial recordkeeping.

• Understanding of wallet addresses, transaction hashes, network confirmations, and blockchain fees.

• Familiarity with digital asset security practices and operational authorization procedures.

• Experience using financial operations systems, spreadsheets, or digital asset monitoring platforms.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to investigate transaction discrepancies and document findings accurately.

• Good understanding of operational risk and internal control procedures.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working with institutional custody services or digital asset platforms is advantageous.
