We are looking for an accomplished Fintech Transformation Director to lead complex digital transformation programmes across financial products, technology platforms, operations, and customer experience.

This is a senior strategic position for an individual capable of connecting business objectives with technology execution. You will work across multiple functions to modernise financial infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and establish scalable digital capabilities.

The Role

You will oversee transformation initiatives from strategic planning through implementation, ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise-wide fintech transformation programmes.
• Develop multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Lead modernisation of legacy financial platforms and operational processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, artificial intelligence, and digitalisation.
• Coordinate programmes across product, engineering, operations, risk, compliance, and finance.
• Establish governance structures, milestones, KPIs, and programme controls.
• Evaluate technology investments and prepare strategic business cases.
• Manage relationships with technology partners and external service providers.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and develop scalable improvement initiatives.
• Present transformation progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience across fintech, banking, consulting, technology, or digital transformation.
• Proven leadership of complex technology or financial-services transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of digital banking, payments, financial platforms, and cloud technology.
• Excellent programme-management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong commercial and analytical judgement.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior executives.
• Experience operating within European financial-services environments.
