A sophisticated financial technology organisation in Estonia is seeking an accomplished Fintech Platform Transformation Director to lead strategic transformation across its technology platforms, financial products, operating processes, and digital infrastructure.

This is a senior transformation role for a leader capable of connecting business strategy with technology execution. You will oversee complex initiatives that improve scalability, operational efficiency, product capabilities, and the overall maturity of the fintech platform.

Strategic Mandate

You will establish transformation priorities, build execution frameworks, and coordinate major initiatives across product, engineering, operations, finance, risk, compliance, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year fintech transformation strategy.
• Identify technology and process opportunities capable of improving scalability and operational performance.
• Lead complex transformation programmes from business case through implementation.
• Establish programme governance, milestones, dependencies, and performance indicators.
• Partner with technology leaders on platform modernisation and architectural evolution.
• Review legacy processes and identify opportunities for automation and simplification.
• Coordinate product, engineering, finance, operations, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
• Develop investment cases and strategic recommendations for major technology initiatives.
• Establish transformation KPIs and provide executive-level reporting.
• Assess operational and technology risks associated with major transformation programmes.
• Support organisational change and adoption across affected teams.
• Evaluate emerging fintech technologies and determine their potential strategic relevance.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement and measurable operational excellence.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience across fintech, banking, technology, consulting, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience leading complex enterprise or platform transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of financial technology operating models.
• Experience working with modern cloud, software, data, and digital platforms.
• Strong commercial and strategic judgement.
• Excellent programme governance and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Comfortable engaging with executive leadership and highly technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to turn strategic concepts into measurable execution plans.
