A leading-edge financial technology environment in Estonia is seeking an accomplished Digital Finance Strategy Director to shape the strategic direction of next-generation financial products, digital banking capabilities, and technology-enabled financial services.

This is a high-impact leadership position for a commercially minded fintech professional who understands how technology, financial infrastructure, customer behaviour, and regulatory requirements intersect. The successful candidate will translate market opportunities into executable strategies and work closely with product, technology, finance, risk, and executive teams.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategies for digital finance and fintech product expansion.
• Evaluate emerging opportunities across payments, digital banking, embedded finance, and financial infrastructure.
• Conduct market, competitor, customer, and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Translate strategic priorities into measurable business initiatives and execution roadmaps.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership on technology-enabled financial solutions.
• Assess new business models, partnerships, platforms, and fintech capabilities.
• Develop investment cases, business plans, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Establish performance frameworks for strategic initiatives and monitor commercial outcomes.
• Identify operational, technological, financial, and regulatory considerations associated with new initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional transformation programmes involving multiple business units.
• Track developments across European financial technology markets and incorporate relevant insights into strategic planning.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in fintech, banking, financial services, consulting, strategy, or technology.
• Proven experience developing and executing business or product strategies.
• Strong understanding of digital financial services and technology-driven business models.
• Excellent commercial, analytical, and financial modelling capabilities.
• Experience working with senior executives and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of European fintech market dynamics.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to convert complex information into clear strategic decisions.
