A forward-looking fintech organisation in Estonia is seeking an accomplished Embedded Finance Product Director to lead the development and expansion of financial capabilities delivered through digital platforms, marketplaces, and technology ecosystems.

This is a senior product leadership position for an individual who understands both the commercial potential and technical complexity of integrating financial services into non-financial customer journeys. You will shape product strategy, build scalable operating models, and lead multidisciplinary teams through discovery, development, launch, and optimisation.

Strategic Mandate

You will own the product vision for embedded financial services, connecting customer needs with payment infrastructure, financial partners, technology platforms, risk controls, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the embedded finance product strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Identify opportunities across payments, accounts, lending infrastructure, wallets, and financial APIs.
• Analyse customer journeys and identify opportunities to integrate financial services naturally into digital products.
• Lead product discovery, validation, prioritisation, and delivery.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to establish scalable platform capabilities.
• Work with compliance, legal, risk, finance, and operations to ensure products are appropriately designed and governed.
• Evaluate financial institutions, payment providers, technology partners, and infrastructure vendors.
• Establish product economics, KPIs, pricing frameworks, and commercial performance indicators.
• Lead cross-functional product launches and post-launch optimisation.
• Develop executive-level product strategies, investment cases, and performance reports.
• Build and mentor high-performing product teams.
• Monitor developments in European fintech, payments, banking infrastructure, and embedded finance.

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of product leadership experience, preferably within fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of embedded finance and digital financial services.
• Experience taking complex products from strategy through commercial launch.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, payment infrastructure, and digital platforms.
• Excellent commercial, analytical, and strategic capabilities.
• Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence.
• International fintech experience is highly advantageous.
