A rapidly evolving fintech organisation in Estonia is seeking a Fintech Regulatory Technology Product Lead to guide the development of technology that supports regulatory compliance, risk controls, reporting, and operational governance.

This role brings together product management, financial regulation, engineering, data, and operations. You will transform complex regulatory requirements into practical technology products that can operate efficiently within a modern fintech environment.

Strategic Mandate

You will own the product direction for selected RegTech capabilities, working with compliance and risk specialists to understand requirements and with engineering teams to turn them into scalable systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmaps for regulatory technology capabilities.
• Translate regulatory and operational requirements into clear product requirements.
• Work with compliance, legal, risk, and operations teams to understand control requirements.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to develop automated compliance workflows.
• Oversee technology supporting regulatory reporting, monitoring, controls, and documentation.
• Develop product requirements for rules engines, workflow platforms, reporting systems, and risk tooling.
• Establish KPIs covering automation, accuracy, processing efficiency, and operational performance.
• Lead product discovery, prioritisation, testing, and delivery.
• Identify opportunities to replace manual compliance processes with scalable technology.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews for new regulatory-technology capabilities.
• Monitor regulatory and industry developments relevant to the product roadmap.
• Maintain clear product documentation, governance, and delivery plans.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in fintech, RegTech, banking, compliance technology, product management, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of regulatory processes and technology-enabled controls.
• Experience managing complex technology products with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, prioritisation, and project-management skills.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data workflows, automation, and modern software delivery.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and regulatory professionals.
• Experience with AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, regulatory reporting, or risk technology is valuable.
