The Opportunity

A growing fintech operation in Estonia is looking for a highly organised Fintech Operations Specialist to support the smooth execution of digital financial services across customer accounts, transactions, payment processes, internal systems, and operational workflows.

This position is suited to someone who combines strong financial-services awareness with excellent attention to detail and an ability to work comfortably with technology-driven processes.

You will play an important role in ensuring that operational activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily fintech operational activities and transaction workflows.
• Review account, payment, and transaction-related information for accuracy.
• Investigate operational exceptions and escalate complex cases when necessary.
• Support payment processing, reconciliation, settlement, and transaction verification activities.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Work with internal technology teams when system or workflow issues affect operations.
• Assist with customer onboarding and account-related operational processes.
• Identify recurring operational problems and recommend process improvements.
• Support internal controls designed to maintain transaction accuracy and data integrity.
• Assist with operational reporting and performance tracking.
• Coordinate with compliance, customer service, finance, and technology functions.
• Participate in testing and implementation of new operational systems and fintech workflows.
• Ensure operational procedures are consistently followed and properly documented.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, financial operations, or a related environment.
• Strong understanding of digital financial services and transaction workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Comfortable working with financial software, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and digital platforms.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve operational issues logically.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information responsibly.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Professional English; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.
