We are looking for a Fintech Vendor Operations Specialist to support the operational performance of these external relationships.

This position is focused on day-to-day vendor coordination, service monitoring, issue resolution, operational documentation, and performance tracking rather than conventional procurement or sales.

Your Role

You will help ensure that critical external service providers deliver reliably and that operational issues affecting fintech services are identified, documented, and resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational performance across key fintech vendors and service providers.
• Track service incidents, processing interruptions, unresolved issues, and operational dependencies.
• Coordinate with external providers when payment, technology, verification, or financial-service issues arise.
• Maintain structured records of vendor incidents, resolutions, service requests, and operational actions.
• Review service reports and identify recurring performance concerns.
• Support onboarding and operational readiness activities for new technology and financial-service providers.
• Coordinate testing activities when external vendors introduce system or service changes.
• Verify that vendor-related changes do not negatively affect customer or transaction workflows.
• Maintain internal documentation covering vendor dependencies, escalation paths, operational procedures, and service contacts.
• Prepare performance summaries and operational reports for internal stakeholders.
• Support periodic reviews of critical service dependencies and business continuity arrangements.
• Work with technology, payments, finance, operations, and support teams to resolve cross-functional vendor issues.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in fintech operations, banking operations, technology operations, vendor support, payments, or a related field.
• Strong coordination and organisational abilities.
• Experience working with external technology or financial-service providers.
• Excellent incident-tracking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand operational and technical information.
• Strong written communication and documentation capabilities.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, ticketing platforms, dashboards, and service-management tools.
• Familiarity with payment providers, banking technology, APIs, cloud services, or financial infrastructure is advantageous.
