An ambitious financial technology organisation in Estonia is looking for a Fintech Infrastructure Product Manager to lead the development of critical technology capabilities supporting modern financial products.

Rather than focusing solely on customer-facing features, this role concentrates on the infrastructure, APIs, services, and internal platforms that enable reliable financial products to operate at scale.

You will work at the intersection of product management, financial infrastructure, engineering, data, operations, and compliance, turning complex technical capabilities into scalable products used across the wider fintech ecosystem.

The Product Mission

Own the product vision and roadmap for core fintech infrastructure while ensuring that internal platforms deliver measurable improvements in reliability, scalability, speed of development, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product strategy for financial infrastructure and platform capabilities.
• Build and maintain detailed product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear product specifications.
• Work closely with engineering and architecture teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop APIs, platform services, integrations, and internal capabilities that support financial products.
• Establish product KPIs covering reliability, adoption, performance, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to simplify complex financial technology processes.
• Coordinate platform dependencies across product, engineering, security, operations, and compliance.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across technical and non-technical teams.
• Analyse platform performance and prioritise improvements based on measurable business impact.
• Support integration with payment providers, financial institutions, technology partners, and external platforms.
• Maintain appropriate product documentation, requirements, and decision records.
• Lead product discovery, experimentation, prioritisation, and launch activities.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, banking, payments, SaaS, or financial infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud platforms, and modern software architectures.
• Experience managing technically complex products.
• Understanding of payments, transaction processing, digital banking, or financial infrastructure.
• Comfortable working with engineers and technical architects at a detailed level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
• Professional fluency in English.
