We are seeking an Identity Verification Specialist to support secure customer onboarding and account verification within a technology-driven financial environment.

The role focuses on reviewing identity information, resolving verification exceptions, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure that legitimate customers can access financial services while appropriate verification standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer identity information and supporting documentation submitted during onboarding.
• Assess verification results generated by automated identity and screening systems.
• Investigate verification failures, mismatched information, incomplete submissions, and system exceptions.
• Conduct appropriate manual reviews where automated verification requires additional assessment.
• Ensure customer records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Escalate cases that require specialist review according to established procedures.
• Work with customer operations and technical teams to resolve onboarding-related verification problems.
• Identify recurring verification issues and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with testing changes to digital identity-verification workflows.
• Maintain detailed records of verification decisions and supporting evidence.
• Monitor verification queues and ensure cases are handled within defined service standards.
• Handle personal and financial information with a high degree of confidentiality and care.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in customer verification, banking operations, fintech, financial services, onboarding, or related operational functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in personal and financial information.
• Comfortable reviewing documentation and working with digital verification platforms.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written communication and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures consistently while applying sound judgement to unusual cases.
• Familiarity with digital identity technologies, electronic verification, or European financial-services environments is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality and responsible handling of personal information.
