An innovative fintech environment in Estonia is looking for an Embedded Finance Integration Specialist to support the technical and operational integration of financial services into digital platforms, applications, and customer journeys.

The role is focused on the infrastructure that allows payments, accounts, financial data, and other financial capabilities to operate within broader digital products. You will work across integration requirements, APIs, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and partner coordination.

What You Will Own

• Support integrations between fintech platforms, financial institutions, payment providers, and technology partners.
• Analyze API specifications and integration requirements.
• Coordinate technical and operational requirements for new integrations.
• Assist with testing API endpoints, transaction flows, authentication mechanisms, and data exchanges.
• Investigate integration failures and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Monitor integration performance and identify recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation.
• Support sandbox and production-readiness testing.
• Validate transaction and response data exchanged between connected systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on integration improvements.
• Work with product and operations teams to understand business requirements.
• Assist with onboarding new financial or technology partners.
• Support incident investigation involving external providers and integrated services.
• Contribute to improving integration processes and deployment procedures.
• Help ensure that integrations meet required security, operational, and data standards.

What You Bring

A strong candidate may have a background in fintech integrations, payment technology, banking technology, software support, technical operations, or API-based platforms.

Essential capabilities include:

• Understanding of REST APIs and common integration concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Understanding of JSON, webhooks, authentication, and data-exchange principles.
• Good knowledge of transaction-based digital systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with engineers and external technology partners.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience with payments, open banking, digital wallets, card systems, banking APIs, payment gateways, OAuth, webhooks, Postman, SQL, or cloud-based fintech infrastructure would be advantageous.
