We are seeking an Embedded Finance Engineer to develop financial capabilities that can be integrated into digital platforms, marketplaces, and technology products.

This is a hands-on engineering position focused on APIs, financial services, account infrastructure, payments, and secure third-party integrations. You will work on systems where financial functionality must feel seamless to the end user while remaining robust behind the scenes.

What You Will Build

• Develop APIs for financial accounts, payments, balances, transactions, and related services.
• Build services that allow third-party platforms to access financial functionality securely.
• Integrate banking, payment, identity, and financial-data providers.
• Develop event-driven workflows for transaction and account events.
• Implement validation, authorization, idempotency, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Design reliable data flows between internal services and external financial providers.
• Develop automated tests for critical financial workflows.
• Investigate production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to API standards, technical documentation, and developer tooling.
• Collaborate with product, security, compliance, and engineering specialists.

Professional Requirements

• 4+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, TypeScript, or a comparable language.
• Excellent understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong SQL and database-development experience.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and containerized environments.
• Understanding of payments, banking APIs, digital accounts, or financial infrastructure.
• Strong awareness of security and data-protection principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency.
