Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Director to lead the development and strategic evolution of innovative financial products across digital banking, payments, financial management, and technology-enabled services.

The role requires a commercially sophisticated leader capable of translating customer needs, market intelligence, emerging technologies, and financial-sector trends into scalable product strategies. You will oversee product portfolios from strategic conception through launch, optimisation, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Define long-term product strategy and portfolio priorities.
• Identify emerging opportunities within European financial technology markets.
• Lead product discovery, validation, development, and commercialisation.
• Establish product performance frameworks covering revenue, adoption, retention, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate strategic requirements into product specifications.
• Analyse competitor products, pricing structures, customer behaviour, and market positioning.
• Develop business cases for new financial products and technology initiatives.
• Coordinate product launches across operations, compliance, marketing, finance, and technology.
• Establish product-governance and lifecycle-management frameworks.
• Present strategic recommendations and performance results to senior leadership.
• Build and mentor high-performing product teams.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in fintech, banking, payments, or digital financial services.
• Proven product leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent understanding of digital financial products and customer journeys.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and executive-presentation skills.
• Excellent English proficiency.
