This position is responsible for shaping enterprise-wide financial technology strategy and leading complex transformation programmes across digital banking, payments, financial infrastructure, automation, and data-driven financial services. The successful professional will combine commercial judgement with a sophisticated understanding of technology, financial markets, and operational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year digital finance and fintech transformation strategies aligned with organisational growth objectives.
• Lead strategic initiatives covering digital payments, banking platforms, financial automation, embedded finance, and next-generation financial services.
• Assess emerging technologies, market developments, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Develop investment cases, strategic assessments, transformation roadmaps, and executive-level recommendations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams spanning technology, product, finance, risk, compliance, operations, and commercial functions.
• Establish governance structures, performance indicators, milestones, and benefits-realisation frameworks for major transformation programmes.
• Analyse customer, transaction, operational, and financial data to identify opportunities for efficiency and revenue growth.
• Evaluate strategic partnerships with banks, payment providers, technology firms, and financial infrastructure organisations.
• Present complex financial and technology considerations clearly to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across operating models, digital processes, customer journeys, and technology capabilities.

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in fintech, banking, financial services, consulting, technology, or digital transformation.
• Demonstrable experience leading strategic programmes within complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of European financial services and digital-finance ecosystems.
• Excellent financial analysis, commercial modelling, strategic planning, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Ability to translate sophisticated technological concepts into commercially viable business strategies.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Experience operating across multiple functions and international markets.
