Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Director to lead strategic initiatives across digital payments, financial infrastructure, transaction platforms, and next-generation payment ecosystems. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of business strategy, financial services, technology, and payment innovation, helping shape scalable solutions for increasingly complex digital financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term digital payments strategies aligned with business growth and evolving financial-market requirements.
• Lead initiatives involving payment gateways, acquiring platforms, card infrastructure, account-to-account payments, digital wallets, and real-time transaction systems.
• Evaluate emerging payment technologies and determine their commercial and operational applicability.
• Establish frameworks for improving transaction authorization, settlement efficiency, payment reliability, and customer experience.
• Collaborate with technology, product, risk, compliance, finance, and operations teams to deliver strategic payment programs.
• Analyze transaction performance, payment costs, failure rates, customer behavior, and operational metrics.
• Develop business cases for new payment products, markets, partnerships, and infrastructure investments.
• Provide executive-level recommendations on payment architecture, market expansion, and financial technology transformation.
• Oversee strategic relationships with payment processors, financial institutions, technology providers, and ecosystem partners.
• Identify operational vulnerabilities and develop resilience strategies for critical payment infrastructure.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment with substantial knowledge of payment systems and financial technology. You should be comfortable translating complex technical and financial concepts into clear strategic decisions and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience within fintech, banking, payments, financial infrastructure, or digital financial services.
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic or transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems and digital financial products.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
