Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Payments Risk Director to lead risk strategy across modern payment products, transaction processing, digital wallets, and cross-border financial services. The position combines strategic risk leadership with technology, analytics, and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise risk strategies for digital payment products.
• Establish frameworks for payment fraud, transaction risk, operational risk, and financial exposure.
• Analyze transaction patterns to identify emerging threats and control weaknesses.
• Partner with engineering teams to implement real-time risk controls and automated decisioning.
• Oversee payment-risk models, monitoring dashboards, and performance indicators.
• Coordinate risk assessments for new payment products and market launches.
• Work closely with compliance, security, treasury, and product leadership.
• Present risk trends, mitigation strategies, and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, fraud, or financial risk.
• Strong knowledge of digital payments and transaction-processing environments.
• Experience with risk analytics, fraud controls, and financial technology platforms.
• Strong understanding of operational and technology risk.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary risk teams is preferred.
