Position Summary

A modern financial technology environment in Estonia is looking for an experienced Digital Banking Product Designer to create intuitive, trustworthy, and commercially effective experiences for digital financial products.

This role goes beyond conventional UI design. You will be involved in understanding how customers interact with financial products, identifying friction within digital journeys, and transforming complex banking processes into simple and intuitive experiences.

The successful candidate will contribute to experiences covering areas such as digital onboarding, account management, payments, transfers, transaction history, financial dashboards, authentication, and customer support.

What You Will Work On

• Design end-to-end user experiences for digital banking and fintech products.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Simplify complex financial processes into clear customer journeys.
• Conduct user research and analyse behavioural insights to identify product improvements.
• Design responsive experiences across web and mobile platforms.
• Develop and maintain reusable design components and interface patterns.
• Work closely with product, engineering, research, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Translate complex financial requirements into accessible customer experiences.
• Identify usability problems and propose practical design solutions.
• Participate in usability testing and incorporate findings into subsequent iterations.
• Contribute to design-system development and consistency across digital products.
• Consider accessibility, security, trust, and transparency throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Review released products and identify opportunities for continuous experience improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience designing digital products, preferably within fintech, banking, payments, insurance, or another complex technology environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated digital product and UX/UI work.
• Excellent understanding of user-centred design principles.
• Strong experience with modern design and prototyping tools.
• Ability to design complex workflows without making them unnecessarily complicated for users.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Experience working with design systems and reusable components.
• Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and usability.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how product design affects customer adoption and retention.
• Professional English communication skills.
