Solutions Architect – Fintech, Cloud & Enterprise Technology

A technology-focused organisation in Estonia is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions supporting modern digital operations.

This is a senior technical position for someone who can understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical technology architectures. You will operate across software, cloud infrastructure, data, security, APIs, and enterprise platforms while working with engineering and business stakeholders.

The role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects involving digital banking, payments, financial platforms, business automation, cloud migration, data systems, and enterprise applications, while also remaining relevant to organisations outside fintech.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable and reliable enterprise technology solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture.
• Evaluate technologies, platforms, integrations, and architectural approaches.
• Work with engineering teams throughout solution design and implementation.
• Develop architecture documentation, technical specifications, and diagrams.
• Consider scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support cloud adoption and digital-transformation initiatives.
• Design API and system-integration strategies.
• Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, security specialists, data teams, and business leaders.
• Contribute to technology standards and long-term architecture strategy.

The Right Profile

We are looking for a technically strong professional with experience designing complex technology solutions and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, databases, cybersecurity, microservices, enterprise architecture, or financial technology would be highly valuable.
