Role Overview
The Security Architect will design and strengthen security frameworks protecting fintech applications, financial data, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and transaction-processing environments. The role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity architecture and the unique security requirements of digital financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design secure architectures for fintech applications and financial platforms.
• Develop security standards for APIs, databases, cloud environments, and applications.
• Assess technology systems for vulnerabilities and architectural weaknesses.
• Establish identity, access-control, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security throughout the software-development lifecycle.
• Support threat modelling and security-risk assessments.
• Develop security requirements for new fintech products and integrations.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats affecting financial technology.
• Support incident-response and remediation activities.
• Review third-party technology integrations from a security perspective.
• Maintain security architecture documentation and technical standards.
• Advise management on technology-security risks and mitigation strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity architecture, banking technology, fintech, or enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of cloud security, network security, application security, APIs, and identity management.
• Understanding of secure software-development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant professional security certifications are advantageous.
