A high-level engineering role focused on building sophisticated payment orchestration infrastructure that coordinates transactions across banks, payment providers, wallets, and settlement systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop distributed payment-orchestration services for multi-provider transaction routing.
• Build intelligent routing logic based on payment method, currency, provider availability, transaction limits, cost, and risk parameters.
• Engineer transaction state machines covering authorization, capture, reversal, refund, settlement, and failure recovery.
• Develop resilient APIs and event-driven services capable of processing high transaction volumes.
• Implement idempotency, concurrency controls, retry strategies, circuit breakers, and automated recovery mechanisms.
• Build settlement and reconciliation services connecting internal ledgers with external payment providers.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, caching layers, and asynchronous workloads.
• Establish comprehensive observability through metrics, distributed tracing, structured logging, and alerting.
• Participate in architectural decisions, technical reviews, incident response, and engineering standards.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or C#.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and transactional databases.
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging infrastructure.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL expertise.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
• Professional experience in payments, banking, digital wallets, or financial infrastructure is highly advantageous.
