Position Overview

The P2P Payments Operations Manager will oversee the operational performance of peer-to-peer payment services, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently, exceptions are resolved promptly, and operational controls remain aligned with applicable financial-services requirements. The role combines payments operations, process optimization, transaction monitoring, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational workflows supporting P2P payment transactions.
• Monitor transaction volumes, processing times, failed payments, reversals, refunds, and operational exceptions.
• Develop procedures for transaction reconciliation and settlement operations.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution with relevant teams.
• Establish operational KPIs and dashboards covering transaction success rates, processing efficiency, and service quality.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, product, engineering, and customer-support teams.
• Identify recurring operational problems and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Support payment-system migrations, new product launches, and operational testing.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, controls, and escalation procedures.
• Contribute to business-continuity and incident-response planning for critical payment services.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking operations, or digital financial services.
• Strong understanding of payment processing and transaction lifecycles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with operational data, reconciliation processes, and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a regulated environment.
