Role Overview
The Engineer will design, develop, and optimize technology infrastructure supporting high-volume financial transactions. The position focuses on payment processing, transaction orchestration, APIs, system reliability, and scalable fintech architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure payment-processing and transaction-management systems.
• Build APIs connecting payment platforms, financial institutions, merchants, wallets, and third-party services.
• Improve transaction processing speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Design services capable of handling high-volume financial transactions.
• Implement automated reconciliation and transaction-status mechanisms.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production and integration issues.
• Develop monitoring capabilities for transaction failures and system performance.
• Work with cybersecurity teams to strengthen application and transaction security.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical design sessions.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
• Develop automated testing for critical financial workflows.
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Understanding of databases, cloud infrastructure, authentication, and system integration.
• Experience with payments or financial technology is highly advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
