📌 Role Summary

The Open Banking Integration Specialist will support the technical and operational integration of banking services with fintech applications and digital financial platforms.

The role involves working with banking APIs, reviewing integration requirements, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and supporting the implementation of secure financial data exchange processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with software engineers, product teams, financial institutions, and technical support specialists to maintain reliable integrations.

This position requires practical knowledge of API integration, digital banking infrastructure, and financial technology systems, together with the ability to translate technical requirements into effective integration solutions.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Support the integration of banking APIs with fintech applications and financial platforms.

• Review API documentation and translate integration requirements into technical specifications.

• Assist with the implementation and testing of open banking connectivity.

• Monitor API performance, availability, and integration reliability.

• Investigate authentication, connectivity, and data exchange issues.

• Coordinate integration activities with banking partners and third-party providers.

• Support secure access to account information and payment initiation services.

• Validate data exchanged between banking systems and fintech applications.

• Prepare integration documentation and technical implementation guidelines.

• Work with software engineering teams to resolve integration defects.

• Participate in API testing, release validation, and system improvement projects.

• Maintain accurate records of integration issues and technical resolutions.

🎓 Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in API integration, financial technology, or software implementation.

• Practical understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and authentication protocols.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and secure API communication.

• Understanding of digital banking and open banking concepts.

• Experience using Postman or similar API testing tools.

• Basic SQL knowledge and ability to investigate data-related issues.

• Familiarity with payment initiation and account information services is an advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills.

• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
