The position

• Lead and execute our market access and external affairs strategy in Estonia, helping ensure that innovative medicines reach patients sustainably.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare authorities, decision-makers, industry associations, patient organisations, and other key stakeholders across the healthcare and media ecosystem.
• Act as BI’s trusted representative in external engagements, strengthening the company’s reputation and positioning as a valued healthcare partner.
• Drive market access initiatives across the product lifecycle, leading HTA, pricing, reimbursement, and policy-related activities for both current and future portfolio assets.
• Shape compelling value propositions by coordinating evidence generation, pricing strategies, and access tools that demonstrate the value of innovation to healthcare decision-makers.
• Monitor changes in the healthcare landscape and translate policy, market, and stakeholder insights into actionable recommendations that support business growth and successful product launches.
• Partner closely with Medical, Marketing, Commercial, and regional colleagues, as well as external stakeholders, to develop initiatives that improve patient pathways, enhance access to innovative therapies, and contribute to better health outcomes and long-term healthcare system sustainability.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and the highest ethical standards.

• University degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 3–5 years in a market access role.
• Strong track record in market access, HTA, pricing and reimbursement, with demonstrated success in securing patient access to innovative therapies.
• In-depth understanding of the Estonian healthcare system and stakeholder landscape.
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate, influence and communicate effectively at executive and institutional levels.
• Excellent relationship-building and networking capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in Estonian and English.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Estonia and internationally.
