ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for aLead Production Engineer to join our production team and help build and lead our Production Engineering function. You will act as a key technical link between Product Development and Manufacturing, taking ownership of manufacturing readiness, driving the introduction of new products into production, and improving how we build and scale our products.
What you will be doing:

Lead the introduction of new products into production (NPI), ensuring manufacturing readiness and a smooth transition from development to production.

Establish and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, assembly instructions, electrical schematics, test procedures, and production standards.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes, working methods, tooling, fixtures, and production testing to support efficient and scalable production.

Provide technical leadership in resolving complex and day-to-day manufacturing issues, supporting Production Management and driving sustainable engineering improvements.

Manage engineering changes, product configurations, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) throughout the product lifecycle, including maintaining product data in the ERP system.

Work closely with Product Development to drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT), supporting prototype builds and preparing products for serial production.

Identify and drive opportunities to improve manufacturing performance, quality, reliability, efficiency, cost, and scalability.
What we are looking for:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrialization, or a similar role.

Experience with ERP systems and BOM management, as well as CAD/PDM/PLM tools.

Good understanding of electro-mechanical products, technical documentation, electrical schematics, work instructions, and production testing.

Hands-on experience improving production processes, solving technical manufacturing issues.

Ability to work independently, take ownership, drive ideas through to completion, and make sound decisions in a fast-changing production environment.

Strong team player with initiative, confidence, and a big-picture mindset.
Nice to have:

Experience working in low-volume, high-mix, or regulated manufacturing environments.

Experience with defence, aerospace, robotics, or other complex electro-mechanical products.
