Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable API platforms for account information, payment initiation, transaction data, and financial-service integrations.
• Build secure microservices supporting high-volume financial transactions and customer account operations.
• Develop OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, API-key, and service-to-service authentication mechanisms.
• Engineer resilient integrations with banking APIs and third-party financial service providers.
• Implement API versioning, rate limiting, throttling, caching, observability, and automated failure recovery.
• Develop event-driven workflows for payment notifications, account updates, transaction events, and reconciliation.
• Optimize distributed services for high availability and low latency.
• Establish automated unit, integration, contract, and security testing.
• Work closely with cybersecurity, product, DevOps, and compliance teams on production systems.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced expertise in Java, Kotlin, Go, or C#.
• Strong knowledge of REST, gRPC, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and API architecture.
• Excellent understanding of microservices, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Previous experience with banking APIs, open banking, payments, or financial platforms is highly valuable.
