An advanced software engineering opportunity for a developer responsible for building the financial systems that manage accounts, balances, transactions, fees, and financial records.

Role Overview

You will develop core services supporting digital financial products while ensuring that every transaction is processed accurately, consistently, securely, and with complete auditability.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and maintain double-entry ledger and financial-accounting services.
• Develop services for account balances, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, fees, limits, and transaction histories.
• Implement highly reliable transaction workflows with strong consistency guarantees.
• Build APIs and internal services consumed by mobile, web, banking, and financial operations platforms.
• Develop reconciliation engines for comparing internal transaction records with external financial providers.
• Create automated mechanisms for identifying transaction discrepancies and processing exceptions.
• Design database schemas and optimize complex financial queries and transactional workloads.
• Implement comprehensive audit trails and immutable financial-event records.
• Develop automated unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.
• Work with security, compliance, DevOps, and product teams to deliver production-ready financial services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably within fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
• Advanced experience with Java/Kotlin, C#, Go, or Python.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and transactional database systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed transactions, concurrency, data consistency, and system reliability.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with ledger architecture, reconciliation, settlement, or accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of secure software-development practices.
