We are looking for a Mobile Software Developer to help build, enhance, and maintain scalable mobile applications. This role is suitable for an engineer with a strong foundation in mobile software development, a commitment to code quality, and an interest in modern mobile technologies.

You may specialise in iOS, Android, or both platforms, depending on your technical background and the team’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mobile application features in line with product specifications.

• Develop native applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, or Jetpack Compose.

• Apply suitable architectural patterns, including MVVM or Clean Architecture.

• Connect mobile applications to backend APIs and external services.

• Implement secure authentication, data handling, and error management.

• Write unit tests and contribute to integration and UI testing.

• Investigate crashes, improve application responsiveness, and resolve production issues.

• Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and peer code reviews.

• Support application releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Essential Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience developing native mobile applications.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented or modern language-based programming principles.

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD processes.

• Knowledge of mobile lifecycle management, networking, local storage, and asynchronous programming.

• Experience debugging and profiling mobile applications.

• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and work independently when required.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, or crash-reporting tools.

• Knowledge of mobile accessibility and internationalisation.

• Experience with automated deployment and release management.

• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
