An established financial technology environment in Estonia is looking for a commercially aware Head of Fintech Operations & Transformation to modernize operational processes and build scalable structures for continued growth.

The role combines operational leadership, process engineering, technology transformation, performance management, and cross-functional coordination.

The Role

You will assess how financial-services operations function today, identify inefficiencies, and lead transformation initiatives that improve scalability, customer experience, control, and operational performance.

You will collaborate across technology, product, compliance, finance, customer operations, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational transformation strategies.
• Review existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Establish operational KPIs, reporting structures, and performance-management frameworks.
• Lead initiatives involving workflow automation, digital tools, and process redesign.
• Improve collaboration between technology and business operations.
• Support the implementation of scalable operating models for new financial products.
• Identify operational risks and establish appropriate controls and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate large-scale transformation projects from planning through implementation.
• Prepare strategic recommendations and performance reports for senior management.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement across operational teams.

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years of experience in fintech, banking, financial services, consulting, operations, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience leading complex transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of financial-services operations and technology-enabled processes.
• Experience with automation, workflow optimization, and operational analytics.
• Strong project and stakeholder-management skills.
• Commercially minded with excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Comfortable operating with senior executives and multidisciplinary teams.
