Position Overview

A technology-focused financial operation is seeking an FX Trading Technology Specialist to support the systems, platforms, and technical workflows used in foreign exchange trading.

The role sits between financial markets and technology, making it suitable for a professional who understands trading environments and enjoys working with financial software, market-data systems, and technology-driven trading processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the operation and optimisation of FX trading platforms and related systems.
• Monitor trading-system performance and investigate technical issues.
• Assist with the integration of market-data feeds, trading APIs, and financial technology services.
• Support connectivity with liquidity providers and external trading infrastructure.
• Analyse system and transaction data to identify operational or technical anomalies.
• Work with developers and trading teams to resolve platform issues.
• Assist with testing new trading-system functionality and software releases.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.
• Support controls designed to protect trading-system integrity and data accuracy.
• Contribute to automation and process improvements across FX technology workflows.

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Experience with financial technology, trading systems, FX platforms, software support, or a related technical environment.
• Understanding of FX trading workflows and electronic trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, or market-data technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Comfortable working with technical documentation and structured data.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and financial-market professionals.
