A growing financial markets organisation in Estonia is seeking an experienced FX Sales Trader to support institutional foreign exchange activity and develop strong relationships with professional clients, counterparties, and liquidity providers. This position combines foreign exchange expertise, client coverage, market analysis, and execution, making it suitable for a commercially minded professional with a strong understanding of global currency markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying client trading requirements, communicating relevant market developments, coordinating competitive FX pricing, and supporting efficient execution across major and selected emerging currency pairs. The role requires a strong balance between relationship management, market awareness, and disciplined trading practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with institutional and corporate FX clients.
• Understand client trading requirements and provide appropriate foreign exchange solutions.
• Monitor currency markets, liquidity, spreads, volatility, and significant macroeconomic developments.
• Coordinate FX pricing and execution in response to client requirements and prevailing market conditions.
• Execute or facilitate spot, forward, swap, and other approved FX transactions.
• Communicate market movements, pricing changes, and relevant trading opportunities to clients.
• Work closely with dealers, liquidity providers, and internal trading teams to achieve competitive execution.
• Monitor client flow and identify opportunities to improve service, pricing, and execution quality.
• Maintain accurate records of client transactions, pricing, and trading activity.
• Support daily reporting and analysis of FX volumes, revenue, spreads, and execution performance.
• Ensure client activity is conducted within approved trading, credit, and compliance parameters.
• Contribute to the development of the organisation’s institutional FX client offering.

Candidate Profile

• Professional experience in FX sales, institutional trading, brokerage, treasury, or a related financial-markets environment.
• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets and major currency pairs.
• Understanding of spot, forward, swap, and related FX products.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness combined with disciplined risk judgement.
• Ability to interpret market information and communicate it clearly to professional clients.
• Comfortable working with electronic trading platforms, CRM systems, and market-data tools.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, target-oriented environment.
