Fintech Web Architect

Design and develop the digital foundations of modern financial platforms. This position is focused on creating sophisticated, secure, and scalable websites for fintech products, including digital banking, payments, investment platforms, financial dashboards, and customer portals.

You will work across architecture, frontend development, API integration, performance, and technical standards, translating complex financial requirements into reliable digital experiences. The role is ideal for an experienced web professional who understands both modern engineering practices and the high expectations associated with financial technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop high-performance fintech websites and web applications.
• Translate product requirements and UX designs into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish frontend architecture, reusable components, and development standards.
• Integrate APIs, authentication services, payment systems, and third-party financial platforms.
• Build responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.
• Implement appropriate security controls for customer-facing financial applications.
• Optimise website performance, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, product teams, and QA specialists.
• Review technical solutions and identify opportunities for improving scalability and maintainability.
• Support testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous technical improvement.

Professional Profile

• Strong professional experience in web development or web application engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, or comparable technologies.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, Git, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD environments.
• Understanding of web security and data-protection principles.
• Previous fintech, banking, payments, trading, or financial-services experience is highly advantageous.
