An expanding financial technology business in Estonia is seeking a highly analytical Fintech Treasury Operations Lead to oversee liquidity, cash positioning, payment flows, reconciliations, financial operations, and treasury-related processes across a technology-enabled financial environment.

This is a sophisticated operational role suited to a professional who combines treasury expertise with an understanding of fintech platforms, automated payment infrastructure, financial data, and operational controls.

Role Overview

You will help ensure that financial resources move efficiently and accurately across banking partners, payment platforms, internal accounts, and operational systems. The position requires strong attention to detail while also contributing to process automation and operational scalability.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee daily treasury operations and liquidity-position monitoring.
• Coordinate cash movements across banking and payment relationships.
• Monitor payment flows and investigate operational exceptions.
• Manage reconciliation processes across multiple financial systems.
• Develop cash-position reporting and liquidity dashboards.
• Coordinate with finance, payments, operations, risk, and engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual treasury and reconciliation processes.
• Establish controls around cash movements, settlements, and operational approvals.
• Analyse transaction data to identify discrepancies and unusual operational patterns.
• Support forecasting of liquidity requirements and operational cash needs.
• Maintain relationships with banking and payment-service partners.
• Assist with treasury process design for new products and markets.
• Develop standard operating procedures and escalation frameworks.
• Support internal and external financial-control requirements.
• Provide senior management with clear reporting on liquidity, settlement, reconciliation, and treasury operations.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in treasury, financial operations, banking operations, payments, or fintech.
• Strong understanding of cash management, settlement, reconciliation, and liquidity processes.
• Experience working with payment platforms and banking systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Experience working with financial data and operational reporting.
• Understanding of automation and technology-enabled financial processes.
• Strong attention to operational controls and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Experience within a regulated financial-services environment is highly advantageous.
