A sophisticated fintech environment in Estonia is seeking a Fintech Release & Change Manager to coordinate the controlled delivery of technology and product changes across critical financial platforms.

The role is designed for a professional who can bring structure to complex release environments while balancing speed, operational stability, regulatory requirements, and customer impact.

What You Will Lead

You will coordinate releases across engineering, infrastructure, product, security, compliance, and operations, ensuring that significant changes are properly assessed, tested, communicated, and introduced into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end release-management framework for critical fintech platforms.
• Coordinate major software, infrastructure, product, and configuration releases.
• Establish release calendars and manage dependencies across multiple delivery teams.
• Assess operational risks associated with significant technology changes.
• Coordinate release readiness reviews involving engineering, security, operations, and product stakeholders.
• Ensure appropriate testing, rollback, contingency, and communication plans are established.
• Track release quality, deployment performance, incidents, and post-release issues.
• Improve change-management processes through automation and standardisation.
• Support emergency-change procedures while maintaining appropriate governance.
• Coordinate post-release reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain accurate release documentation, approvals, deployment records, and operational procedures.
• Provide leadership with clear reporting on release activity, risks, and delivery performance.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in release management, technology delivery, IT operations, DevOps, or change management.
• Experience working within financial services, fintech, banking, or another highly controlled technology environment.
• Strong understanding of software-development and deployment lifecycles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud platforms, infrastructure changes, testing, and production operations.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent releases without losing attention to detail.
• Excellent risk assessment, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Operating Environment

Modern CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, microservices, automated testing, deployment platforms, change-management systems, observability tools, and cross-functional Agile delivery teams.
