About the Opportunity

A fast-growing financial technology environment in Estonia is seeking a Fintech Product Architect to shape the design and evolution of next-generation digital financial products. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technology, payments, customer experience, and financial infrastructure.

The successful candidate will translate complex financial requirements into scalable product architectures and work closely with engineering, compliance, operations, data, and commercial teams to deliver secure and commercially viable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product architecture and long-term development strategies for fintech platforms and financial services.
• Translate customer, regulatory, and business requirements into structured product specifications.
• Partner with engineering teams to design scalable digital banking, payments, and financial technology solutions.
• Develop product roadmaps covering new features, platform enhancements, integrations, and market expansion.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their practical application within financial products.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to incorporate regulatory requirements into product design.
• Establish product performance indicators and use data to guide prioritisation.
• Support API-based integrations with payment providers, banking infrastructure, identity services, and external financial platforms.
• Identify operational and customer-experience improvements across the product lifecycle.
• Present product architecture and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in fintech, digital banking, payments, financial software, or a related technology environment.
• Strong understanding of digital financial products and technology-driven business models.
• Experience working with APIs, cloud platforms, distributed systems, or financial technology infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to work across product, engineering, compliance, and commercial functions.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Professional working proficiency in English; knowledge of Estonian or another European language is advantageous.
