Position Overview

A technology-driven financial services environment is seeking a Fintech Platform Support Specialist to provide operational and technical support for digital financial platforms.

The successful candidate will help maintain platform availability, investigate incidents, assist users and internal teams, and ensure that problems are resolved efficiently. The position combines technical support with an understanding of financial-service operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor fintech applications and platforms for operational issues.
• Respond to technical and platform-related support requests.
• Investigate application errors, transaction problems, and system incidents.
• Analyse logs and system information to identify potential causes of issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to engineering, infrastructure, or security teams.
• Support platform releases, configuration changes, and system testing.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues.
• Identify patterns in support cases and recommend improvements.
• Assist with platform documentation and internal knowledge resources.
• Support business continuity and service-reliability procedures.

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Experience in application support, fintech operations, technical support, or financial technology.
• Understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and system troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring platforms.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work methodically when handling time-sensitive incidents.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Linux, scripting, or financial applications is an advantage.
