Fintech Web Platform Developer

Engineer the websites and web platforms that connect customers with modern financial services. This role goes beyond conventional website development, involving the creation of scalable digital platforms that combine high-quality interfaces with secure integrations, reliable infrastructure, and strong performance.

You will participate across the development lifecycle, from technical planning and implementation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation. Your work will contribute to websites and web applications supporting financial products in a rapidly evolving technology environment.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop scalable web platforms for fintech products and services.
• Build reusable frontend and full-stack functionality for customer-facing applications.
• Integrate external financial services, APIs, payment providers, authentication systems, and internal services.
• Develop secure forms, customer portals, account interfaces, dashboards, and interactive product experiences.
• Work with backend engineers to establish reliable data and API integrations.
• Improve website performance, availability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement automated testing and contribute to quality-assurance processes.
• Investigate technical issues and provide effective production solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Maintain development documentation and coding standards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, product, security, compliance, and operations teams.
• Evaluate new technologies that can improve the fintech web-development environment.

Technical Background

• Demonstrable experience developing professional web applications or digital platforms.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience with modern frameworks.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture, APIs, databases, and web services.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud environments.
• Understanding of authentication, data security, and secure web-development principles.
• Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, or comparable technologies is highly valuable.
• Previous experience in fintech, banking, payments, brokerage, or another regulated technology environment is beneficial.
