We are seeking an experienced Fintech Platform Architect to shape the architecture of modern financial platforms supporting digital payments, account services, transaction processing, financial APIs, and data-driven products. This is a senior technical position for an architect who can translate complex financial requirements into secure, scalable, and commercially viable technology solutions.

The role combines enterprise architecture, fintech engineering, cloud infrastructure, security, and product collaboration. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to establish technical direction while ensuring that platforms remain resilient, compliant, observable, and capable of supporting rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture of scalable fintech platforms and financial services.
• Design distributed systems for payments, transaction processing, account services, and API-based integrations.
• Establish architectural standards covering security, availability, performance, and maintainability.
• Evaluate cloud-native technologies, databases, messaging systems, and integration frameworks.
• Partner with engineering leaders to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures.
• Design API ecosystems connecting internal platforms and external financial-service providers.
• Establish principles for identity, access management, encryption, data protection, and system resilience.
• Review critical technical designs and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
• Support modernization of legacy financial applications and migration toward cloud-native infrastructure.
• Contribute to technology strategy, technical roadmaps, and long-term platform evolution.

Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of experience in software architecture, platform engineering, or a comparable technical leadership role.
• Strong experience designing distributed and highly available systems.
• Background in fintech, banking, payments, financial software, or another highly regulated technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of application security, data protection, observability, and resilience engineering.
• Experience communicating complex architecture to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and a pragmatic approach to technology decisions.
